If you will be spending time in the Hudson Valley in July and have a kiddo who loves sewing, knitting, crocheting and other fiber related activities you should sign them up for my fiber arts class at Primrose Hill School Summer Camp. A 5 minute drive from the village of Rhinebeck. This will be my third year teaching in this bucolic setting. We naturally dye fabrics and use these to create rag rugs, bandanas or capes. Kids learn how to hand sew and machine sew. We use wool felt from Gary one of the sheep on the farm.
New this year will be a class called Fiber Pets. Bunnies, snakes, cats and more will all be made.
