Such a good feeling that Covid is in the rear window. Although I still proceed with caution. There are 2 wonderful markets I am excited to be part of. 

December 3rd and 4th with FAD Market in Dumbo Brooklyn at the Empire Stores 

11 to 6 pm

55 Water Street, Brooklyn, NY

A curated selection of goods including handmade jewelry, stationery, bath and body care, tableware, artisanal packaged food, beverage items, home furnishings and more. 

This is an awesome location where you can spend the day doing many other things.

The market is located in Empire Stores, home to Time Out Market, Cecconi’s, Dumbo House, and West Elm. Come hungry so you can fill up at one of Time Out Market’s 20+ food vendors. 

While you’re in the neighborhood, visit Brooklyn Bridge Park for unparalleled views of Downtown Manhattan, take a ride on Jane’s Carousel, explore the old architecture and cobblestone streets, and Dumbo Walls, outdoor murals scattered throughout the neighborhood. Dumbo has become one of the buzziest neighborhoods in New York. It is a hotbed of culture, commerce, and gastronomy. 

December 17th and 18th with Brooklyn Pop-Up at Brooklyn Musuem

The Holiday Market at BKM is located in the Brooklyn Museum's gorgeous glass pavilion lobby. The layout will include 35+ hand picked vendors and artisans for this one of a kind holiday gift market.

Before or after your shopping you can check out the current exhibits at the museum.  If you are a member there is a special viewing the morning of December 17th of Thierry Mugler: Couturissime, the first retrospective to explore the fascinating, edgy universe of the French designer and perfumer. Or enjoy a Members-only morning viewing of Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech”.
